Hi, my name is Jo and I’m the Administration Supervisor for North & Midlands, encompassing East Midlands, West Midlands and North West regions.I manage the Administration Hub based in the Midlands, which is made up of myself and 3 Administrators. My team supports the Recruitment and Training of foster carers, along with organising and administering Panel and other administrative functions. I’ve worked in back office support/office manager roles since I was 16 and have spent the majority of that time working in children and young peoples services. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
Hi, my name is Deborah and I’m the administrator for the North West region. I have worked in retail finance for over 20 years and for the last 6 years I have been a foster carer for Telford and Wrekin Council. I have fostered 23 children and have adopted one. I also volunteer as a Patient Insight Partner for Arthritis Research UK. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 children. I have lots of hobbies including bespoke cake decorating, knitting, reading and playing the clarinet and piano.
Hi, my name is Kerry. I have worked for Fusion Fostering since July 2016. I am one of the Regional Administrators for East, West Midlands and North West. I lead on recruitment, stage one checks and also I attend Panels as a Panel Administrator.
I enjoy spending time with my family and shopping in my spare time!
I began my working career in the British Army at eighteen. Following my marriage, I then went to work in the construction industry in Germany. On returning to the UK I purchased a transport company and met many children in the care system. This led to my fostering career, setting up a leaving care organisation and becoming a care partner in 2013. In my spare time I play golf and run marathons.
I grew up within a family that fostered. I worked in Insurance for ten years, married and had two children. I then became a driving Instructor. My fostering career followed very quickly with my husband Ray and we had many placements and three long term.
We established our care partnership in 2013 and with our collective knowledge have continued to provide unrivalled support to our carers. To relax I do pilates.
Hi, I am Claire. I have been with Fusion now for a year but before that was with another fostering agency for 15 years, so most of my social work career has been in fostering. What drew me to Fusion above other agencies was the dedication and commitment and total support given to all children, carers and staff. Ensuring children and young people have the right placement is paramount to Fusion, and quality is at the forefront of everything they do.
I am part of the North West team and am based in Manchester. I have a keen interest in deaf awareness and deaf rights, as one of my children is deaf, and am a fluent singer, with formal qualifications.
I am fluent in three languages, and love experiencing new cultures.
