Fusion Fostering is an independent fostering agency with offices across South Central, South East, South West, Midlands, North East and North West. Our approach is fully catered around our commitment to safeguarding children in every aspect of what we do. We want to make children’s lives across England safer and happier, helping and caring for the futures of our young people. Our dedicated team is highly trained and committed to improving the life chances of children who are often bewildered, frightened and feel lost. We are always looking for dedicated new carers who can join in with our mission to improve the lives of hundreds of children.
It is a life-changing decision and a decision that your whole family should be involved in. Being a foster parent is extremely rewarding and our carers report high levels of job satisfaction. What’s more, anyone can foster! If you have the right space and the right attitude, you can apply. No previous experience or qualifications are necessary, a full bespoke training programme is organised by us for all carers at the very start of your fostering career.
When you choose to foster with us at Fusion Fostering, you will have one point of contact to support and guide you all the way through, making your fostering experience smooth, enjoyable and life-changing for the child.
We provide full support from the initial point of contact with us, through to the decision to apply, the application process and then onto your first placement and beyond. Choosing to foster is a huge decision, remember you are never alone. We are there to help and support you throughout the entire process, and this support does not end when you become officially registered. We provide 24/7 support, 365 days a year and offer ongoing training sessions for you to continuously develop skills, even working towards formal qualifications.
Fostering isn’t just a lifestyle choice, it is a career where you can grow and develop. As you become more experienced, you may find you have a specialism, perhaps you are good at handling children with specific behaviour management issues or maybe you are skilled with new parent and child placements. There is plenty of room to progress within your fostering carer, and we can help you along the way with custom training sessions, allowing you to advance however you wish.
Fusion Fostering pay a generous fostering allowance to cover the costs of caring for a child as well as a reward allowance for the skill and time of the carer. In addition to this fee, carers receive special tax exclusions from the government, meaning many of our carers pay little or no tax on their earnings.
If fostering a child is something you may be interested in, or you wish to transfer fostering agencies, please get in contact with our dedicated and knowledgable team at Fusion Fostering. If you’re new to fostering or want to switch agency, we’re here to answer any questions you may have and get you started. Give us a call on 03301 239355, email us at info@fusionfostering.com or fill out our contact form.
