Without new foster carers opening up their hearts and homes to vulnerable young people, we wouldn’t be able to provide the amazing services we do for many children across the region.
Foster care is an essential part of safeguarding children. Many children who enter our care may have come from troubling backgrounds and have experienced abuse or neglect. We must find carers who have the right personality, background and experiences to improve outcomes for young people in our care.
The Fostering Network has identified recruitment targets for each region of the UK. For the North West of England, 1,190 new carers need to be recruited in the next 12 months to meet the number of minors entering the care system.1 Help us make a difference by becoming a foster carer with Fusion Fostering.

Anyone can foster! If you’re a full-time UK resident and aged over 21, you will be able to apply to become a carer as long as you have enough time and space in your life and home to care for a young person.
No formal qualifications or prior experience is needed to become a foster carer. All that we ask for is passion, motivation and a strong desire to learn.
We will support you to grow and develop as a carer through a custom-tailored training programme that continues even after you become registered with us.
Being a carer is an amazing and rewarding career choice. As well as generous allowances and tax exemptions specific to foster carers, many of our carers report high levels of job satisfaction.
Working as a carer allows you to make a tangible difference to a young person’s life. Whether that’s helping to grow their confidence, advance their education or simply make them feel happy and loved. A career as a foster carer may be one of the best decisions you ever make!
