Fostering a child changes their life for the better, choosing to become a foster carer can enhance your life for the better too! Each year we look for new carers who are ready to take on the challenge and become part of the Fusion Fostering team.

Fostering is a diverse and varied career, no two child situations will be the same and each young person will have a unique background and set of needs. That’s why we like to recruit carers from all walks of life. Each of our carers brings something new to the table, no matter what their background is. We value all of our carers experiences and help to guide them to be the best they can be.

Recent findings by The Fostering Network, UK’s leading foster care charity, suggest that 550 new carers need to be recruited across the North East region of the UK to compete with the demand.¹ Without new carers, there may be children who are left without a home to call their own.
