“I Want to Thank All of the People at Fusion” – Positive Story from the South West

A truly amazing story of a courageous young man, age 19 who asked us to share his story with you all and the support he has received:

“I’ve been with Fusion for nearly six years now and they’ve been very good to me fighting my corner when they’ve needed to. I had been out of education for a few years and T and M pushed and pushed for me to get into school, so after a year or so they got me into school in the South West.

I made a few mistakes in my time but people like Jon, Nigel and Simon helped me through all of my problems that occurred. It really helped me to be the person I am today. I want to thank all of the people at Fusion Fostering. T and Mike my foster parents also pushed me to believe in myself. I have passed my driving test and have a car and going to college.

When my male foster parent M died, I was sad and worry about Auntie T but we like being together and when I was 18 she said I could stay and live with her if I wanted and my new PA said I could also live in a house with other young people. I have stayed with Auntie T and can stay until I feel safe to leave and live on my own and I still get support from Rich and Fusion and Simon so feel happy. T is still helping me with college and teaching me to budget, saving and cooking and I have a new puppy called Boo.”
