Fusion Fostering want to make sure that you have access to all the correct and most current information you need to help make your decision in choosing to foster. From the basics of what is foster care to the type of training and support our foster carers will receive on the job, Fusion will make sure you are well-informed throughout the entire process.
We understand that choosing to foster is a huge decision, and not to be taken lightly. If you enquire, we promise not to pressure you or make you commit when you’re not ready. We’re happy to answer any questions honestly, however silly you might think they are. Caring for your future and that of the children in our care is what Fusion is all about.
We want everyone who chooses to apply to foster with Fusion Fostering to be happy and confident in their decision. Fostering is something that will not only affect you but also your whole family. Your placements may only last days, but they could potentially last years! We want to make sure you are in a stable position to provide care to young people who may be vulnerable or troubled.
Our primary purpose is to safeguard children and young people from a wide variety of backgrounds. We put our children first in everything that we do, that’s why it’s so important that our carers are reliable, confident, resilient and capable.
We have no way of knowing what types of fostering placement you may be asked to consider as most often the local authority will ask us to help find a home in short-notice, this could be a teenager, a toddler, a person with disabilities or even a sibling group. However, no matter what type of care you specialise in, the roles and responsibilities of foster parents will always be the same, to love, support and nurture your foster child.
If you think that you are ready to become a carer, take the time to read through our site and learn a little about us and our visions and values. We love to work with people who share our passion for making a difference and giving back to society. If you want to help make a child’s life secure and stable, we have the skills and knowledge to help guide you. Our dedicated team of professionals are highly trained, valued and committed to improving conditions for foster children and families across England.
For information on becoming a foster carer or to find out about our service, please contact us and we’ll be happy to have an informal chat with you. Call 03301 239355 or fill out our online enquiry form below.
